Xporter:User Guide

General Usage Instructions

Open RTV Xporter select single or multiple Autodesk® Revit® drawing sheets or views on the main interface, Export or print the selected drawing sheets or views using the Export and Print buttons on the RTV Xporter main ribbon. To exit and close RTV Xporter click the Exit button.

RTV Xporter Commands

Command Name: Export

Command Description Select single or multiple drawing sheets or views on the main interface and click the Export button to export them to PDF, DWG, DWF, DWFx, DXF and IFC file formats. The Export dialog allows the user to configure export file name formats and configuration settings unique to the file type being exported.

Command Name: Print

Command Description Select single or multiple drawing sheets or views on the main interface and click the Print button to print them to up to two printers connected to your PC. The Print dialog allows the user to select and configure two separate printers and configure the output print settings independently.

Command Name: Check for Updates

Command Description Checks for any updates and patches the have been published for the RTV Xporter plug-in.

Command Name: Proxy Server

Command Description Allows the user to configure a proxy server to check for updates to the RTV Xporter plug-in.

Command Name: Licensing

Command Description Displays the RTV Xporter plug-in licensing agreement.

Command Name: Exit

Command Description Exits the RTV Xporter plug-in.

Command Name: Revit Sheets

Command Description Displays the loaded (imported) Autodesk® Revit® drawing sheets for the current Revit® project file.

Command Name: Revit Views

Command Description Displays the loaded (imported) Autodesk® Revit® views for the current Revit® project file.

Command Name: Edit Filter

Command Description Allows the user to configure and save Filter and Search criteria for the display of the listed drawing sheets and views in the main interface of the RTV Xporter plug-in.

Command Name: Column Header

Command Description Click and drag on the column headers to re-position the display order of the columns in the main interface of the RTV Xporter plug-in.

Command Name: ‘Right Click’ Column Name

Command Description Right click on the column headers to display the edit column menu. Use the Show column chooser to Add/Remove new columns based on Revit® project parameters associated with drawing sheets and or views to the main interface of the RTV Xporter plug-in.
